Built-in Playroom Reveal

All Posts

playroom-reveal

You know I’ve been busy working with clients this year, helping other’s build something amazing in their homes. Well I LOVE it when I get the chance to meet them, especially when I get the chance to meet them IN their homes so I get to see their work up close and in person!  A few weeks ago I drove up to Virginia (we took a little weekend vacation around it) to meet Robin C.

Robin and Sandra

She and her husband build some cabinets for their daughters playroom. They both work full time and ended up putting the doors and drawers on hold for now but the cabinets turned out great and the playroom is super cute! Also, I LOVED the front of Robin’s house so much I asked her if I could share a picture.  Is that not the cutest house? I love it that front door!

Robin’s playroom is complete!

Go check out Robin’s Reveal! She went all out on the whole room, it’s awesome!playroom-reveal

You can read about her progress  Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4 and see the full Reveal on The Sawdust Diaries.

Enjoy!

The room looks amazing! Great work–many years will be enjoyed in here. I have to say I freaked when I saw the window seat near the second floor window. Get some Angel Guard Window covers. We had them when my girls were young in their bedrooms. It gave us such peace of mind. (Yes, I am a safety freak.)

Thanks Kristin. It didn’t even occur to me, but you are right. We don’t often have the windows open, but when we do, there is no way the screens would prevent them from falling. I will look into it. Thanks a lot.
