Fawn’s Library Built-in Bookshelves – Reveal

Fawn T.

Fawn’s library built-in bookshelves are finished and this is one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve ever seen –if I do say so myself!  I’m alway so proud when projects come together — proud of the clients who worked so HARD to make the vision come to fruition.  Fawn and Jerry were like machines getting this all done so fast.  I know it probably didn’t seem too fast to them but it was.  Fast and well done!  I’m so proud of them both and I hope someday I get a chance to meet them and see this gorgeous room in person.  Maybe when it comes time to install that giant ladder!  😉

Built-in Library Bookshelves.

Before

We finally finished! Our library is done!

It is crazy to think we started here. Just a bare room with no purpose.

Library before building bookcases and adding window trim

Library Built in Bookshelves

And now thanks to Sandra.. this room is my favorite room in our house. Filled with purpose. It is a completely transformed room. I cannot wait to fill these bookshelves and add some color to this room!

Amazing Tall Built in Library Bookcases.

We are currently in the process of finishing our dining room to match the panels we added to separate the library from the dining room. I love the way it ties it all together.

Beautiful White Built-in Library Bookshelves.

The MDF and moulding added to the window wall is my favorite part of the room. It really brought that whole wall together and makes it look like one gigantic window. I love that when you walk in… it feels like this is how the room was meant to be.

Awesome, tall, library window trim.

Custom DIY Library Bookshelves

Super tall, built-in bookshelves.

And look… Still married after this project 🙂

Awesome library built-ins built by Fawn and Jerry

Thank you Sandra for teaching us so much along the way. This project has been so rewarding. With your help we were able to take a room we hated and create something amazing. We love it. Thank you so much for all of your help!

This turned out so gorgeous!! Great job! And you two still look so happy together. A true test of a great marriage. I had to go back and read all of the diary entries. Very inspiring…..but it made me exhausted!

What an inspiration you are! I love the built in bookcases-I’m inspired to try this on a much smaller scale in my bedroom-thanks for sharing your creativity with us 🙂

Super fantastic! You did an amazing job! You must feel so incredibly proud of yourselves! I also checked out a bit of your blog – sounds like you haven’t even taken time to enjoy this accomplishment but have kept right on building. Your house will be so incredible when it is done and so full of your handiwork. Well done!

You guys knocked it out of the park! It makes me happy to see couples working on projects together creating a loving beautiful home one nail at a time. 🙂 Keep us posted on how you style it, I know it will be wonderful.

On the right set of cabinets I notice the face board angle away from the wall. (Walls are never plum) How did you fill the gap or did you cut a piece of face board to fit?

Seriously impressive!!! I’m trying to figure out where I could carve a space in my house to do something similar now – it’s just beautiful! I do have a question though – where’d you find that awesome chandelier? I haven’t seen one like that before. It almost looks like the capiz ones but the individual pieces seem much larger.
