Remember that project Dad and I started?

Personal

Here’s how it ended up.

Dad and I only got halfway done before he left.  I was never sure about it.  Wes and I looked at it for 5 days before we decided to tear it out.

Luckily only $100 worth of material had been cut and used and we were able to return the rest so it wasn’t a $400 mistake after all.

I HATE wasting money!

…but it’s done and gone so there’s no sense crying over it.

Never fear! Those cut scraps will come in handy somewhere down the line and you’ll be saying to yourself “I’m so glad I have these handy.” We have a space in our garage for those kind of “bits” and it’s amazing how many times we find just what we need for a project in that pile. It saves a trip to the diy store and extra money too!

But what was the project in the first place? I really feel like you left me hanging, not knowing. Please share 🙂

It’s really too embarrassing to admit what it was. Maybe one day…after it’s not so raw. heehee
