All Inclusive Holiday Mantel

All Posts, Holiday, Personal

I’ve been doing some decorating and am excited to share!

Halloween, Fall, Christmas, Easter, Comical Decorating, Mantel

Who has time to decorate their mantel every time the leaves change?  Every time a new Holiday pops up on the calendar?  Not Me!  Not lately anyway.

Don’t get me wrong, I love having a homey home.  I like to get in the spirit of the upcoming Holiday — whatever it is.  I just don’t seem to have the time these days.

Which is why I’ve created the All Inclusive Holiday Mantel.

Halloween, Fall, Christmas, Easter, Comical Decorating, Mantel

That’s right.  Fall, Christmas, Easter and Halloween all rolled up into one Hot Mess of a Mantel!

Halloween, Fall, Christmas, Easter, Comical Decorating, Mantel

I do confess, I left out a few holidays but I can’t seems to find ALL of my decorations…because my house is under construction…which is why I don’t have time to decorate my mantel…

Cheers!

HAHAHAHA Love it. You are so creative. I especially love your rat in between your egg Christmas tree. Cheers to you!

LOL Thanks Karen. That rat is nasty, he sucked all those eggs! (You know, after they were rotten like rats like to do. Uggh!

Or, like you recommended on facebook earlier last week, just turn off the lights and no one will know you haven’t decorated! It’s my new favorite piece of advice. Floors need mopping? Just turn off the lights! Piano covered in dust? Time for “mood lighting” (lights off)!

LOL But then I’d stub my toe on all the crap everywhere. I love the mood lighting idea though. You wouldn’t see the dust but you could see the shadows of the crap so you could avoid it. Good thinking!

Great idea. Now, if I can just find a Valentine’s fan, that would be perfect!

I LOVE the All Inclusive Holiday mantel! It’s perfect and as it sits around all year and collects cob webs it will add to the Halloween decor!

haha. It will probably still be up next year and by then, it will give Martha Stewart’s Halloween mantel a run for it’s money.

If you painted a big red heart on the rat’s belly, you could have included Valentine’s day!

Like Jean said, paint a red heart on the rat’s belly. Then stick a little American flag in his hand. You go, girl!! I never decorate my mantel for anything except Christmas, but maybe I could do it with your inspiration.

Next time I run across a little American flag I’ll totally pick it up. That’s a fantastic idea! (as is the heart…only then I’d have to get close to those nipples! YUCK!!)

What a great idea…. You crack me up! That’s why I always come back for more…Your posts are informative and inspiring too, but its your sense of humor I love.

With a larger mantle, you could definitely add more holidays….

p.s. that rat is going to give me nightmares, thanks.

LOL Wes likes to hide that rat so Brody (our dog) runs into it and it freaks him out. Such a tease!

I’m glad you get me Maria. I think my sense of humor is lost on most because they just look at the pictures without actually reading…which is a good reason to start writing directly on the pictures “This Is A JOKE”, so no one thinks I’m serious about flaunting an ugly mantle on the internet. I do wonder about myself sometimes…but I just keep on keeping on. Whatev!
