DIY Christmas Ornaments

I had such big plans to make  A WHOLE BUNCH of DIY Christmas ornaments this year.

I have tons of ornaments on my tree but I can still see TREE so, in my opinion, that means I need more ornaments!  I’m too cheap to buy them until after Christmas when they are all ridiculously discounted.  So, of course, I thought I’d DIY some after being inspired by …the www!

There are some seriously inexpensive, quick, easy, cute and beautiful DIY ornament tutorials to be found on the web.  I don’t know if I’m the worlds biggest procrastinator or I just have “bigger fish to fry” in the project department but it seams the last year and a half we’ve gone very ,VERY light with the decorating.  I always have such BIG plans — I don’t know what happens.  :-)

I hope to get to at least a few of these DIY Christmas Ornaments before it’s too late.

Hello!  Put some curled ribbon inside a glass ornament.  Pretty.

I think if my craft room were not such a mess I’d spend more time creating and less time looking at what others have created.  But it’s just so overwhelming!  LOL  I’m determined to make at least one ornament this year.  Setting low expectations so I don’t disappoint myself.  LOL

You have a lot on your plate already! How’s the barn door project coming? I wouldn’t fret if you don’t get around to making ornaments–you can make do with what you have and stock up for next year at the after-holiday sales. Of course that advice comes from somebody who has yet to decorate at all, lol.

  2. I don’t have time this year :) Maybe next? Can’t wait to see what you create! That 3D star is pretty cool!

  3. Same here! I have so many decorating ideas, but always seem to be short on time. Lol.

Thanks for linking to my DIY string ornaments on www.Scissorsandspoons.com!
