That is the exact rug I keep oogling on the PB website, but we only have one eating area & two toddlers, so it would most likely wind up a mess of spaghetti stains.Your dining room is gorgeous! I LOVE the light fixture, but I LOVE the built-ins in your library even more. This tour is awesome. 🙂

Love the dramatic light fixture and the touch of wild in the zebra print! I cannot wait to see the rest of the house!

Oy. Gorgeous! You chose the perfect light fixture for the space … it makes the room look bigger than in the "before" photo. But … where'd the bubble gum machine go? 🙂

What a great room to have as the first thing people see when they walk in. I love the rug, the color on the walls and that ceiling! Very pretty.

What a transformation! It looks great! Love the woods floors and the light fixture. I love yellow walls…it's a great neutral.

I know you didn't add it, but the ceiling trim is awesome! I love your light fixture! It is so dramatic and different. Looking forward to more tour!

Um, love that light fixture. After you close on the house can I run in and steal it before the new buyers get in? Cuz I totally would. Did you need me to pick up that stuff in your garage? Oh and it looks like you didn't add the trim on your ceiling…but do you know where you can buy some trim that is curved like that? I am about to make over my dining room.

For the love of all that is stupid, why was there carpet in the DINING room? Weird. I love what you did with it. How's the house showing going?

What a transformation. You've done an amazing job. Your floor plan walking into the house looks very similar to mine. I can't wait to see all the photos. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, it is amazing what a little paint can do…or should I say what "a lot" of paint can do. 🙂

Oh and the light fixture is so pretty.

Wow that old carpet was really ugly in that room…it is amazing what wood floors can do.

I'll imagine your high pitched, nasally tour-guide voice, if you'll imagine my "Ooooohs" and "Ahhhhs"! 😉 Well done! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the tour.

It really is amazing what an application of paint over dark molding can do for a room. And carpet. Great job! Your blog is my favorite one of all. I like your style and attitude.

Just painting that room and removing the carpet made a HUGE difference! I so wish I could buy your house. LOL Can't wait to see the rest of it!
