3 Tier Sliding Drawer Storage Organizer

I’ve shared FIVE different organization projects with you that have all taken place in this one Multi Function Modular Drawer Storage Organizer.  That’s a lot of function in a little, teeny, tiny space!  The top two trays slide back and forth exposing one compartment or another of the four different compartments on the bottom level.  Or they can be completely removed to access the entire bottom level at one time.  Want to see it in action?  (Plus the last build video out of the series.)

Yes, this little drawer really packs a punch in organization arena!  I started out creating the sliding driver bit tray and then added the lower level bit storage area.Drawer Storage Organizer

Then I added the adjustable pegboard drawer organizer.Adjustable dividers for drawer storage.

And topped it off with the sliding drill bit storage tray that sits shares a sliding ledge with the driver bit tray above the lower level.Drill Bit Drawer Storage

And I didn’t forget to leave a place for a few “bit set cases”.  These cases hold my “grab and go” bits.  The Milwaukee case holds an array of my most commonly used driver bits as well as a few small drill bits.  Then I have one set each, standard and metric, common sized brad point drill bits. I haven’t used any of those drill bits yet but I have them ready if I need them.

A reader emailed me yesterday and told me I was creating a lean shop.  I like that!  I did get on an organizing kick because I was so tired of all the time I was wasting searching for things that I needed to use.  No more.  I’m all organized up in here now.  At least in this one, very organized, little drawer!Multi Tier, Modular Drawer Storage Organizer

just viewed your first video and you do a very nice job with the project and presentation.

  2. I used a label maker and cut small pieces of scrap mdf to stick the labels onto. So I can move the labels around if I need to reorganize the drawer to make room for different sizes…

You used glue for all the separation pieces I get that, but what did you use for the labels of each piece and what are they made of? Or am I missing something? Such a great idea and looks great to boot.
