Chartreuse and White Christmas Tablescape

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  Madison just went into shock because I actually decorated for Christmas — kind of!  While there’s so much construction going on inside I tend not to want to pull out decorations and add to the chaos. I thought I could at least handle a Christmas tablescape.  Chartreuse and White Christmas Tablescape

Even though the dining room is not quite finished yet.  I had hoped to get the crown molding and base trim installed before today but didn’t make it — and I’m ok with that.

I still have a few things to finish up by next Wednesday (which is the day I’ve decided I need to have all the tools and scraps out of the house) but I won’t get to the dining room moulding until after the Holidays so it is what it is. We found this cute silver Christmas tree at Target and used that as a starting off point.

I didn’t purchase or make anything new for my tablescape, I used what we already had; Christmas ornaments and decorations that I generally scatter around the library shelves or mantle.

I picked up these picture frame ornaments a few years ago but have never gotten around to finding any photos small enough to put in them.  They make the perfect place cards.  Madison just made up names since we only actually need three place settings!

Madison did manage to make herself a place setting at the table, so I guess she will be enjoying Christmas Dinner at the beautiful table and Wes and I will just be at the island in the kitchen.  LOL

I am not really one for over the top and simplicity goes a long way when it comes to my tables (more room for Wes’ delicious cooking). I hope you enjoyed my awesome Christmas Tablescape and have confidence to throw one together for yourself!
