House Tour – Office

Here is our office which I’m happy to say my new camera can take a picture of almost the entire wall without me having to piece it together in photoshop.

You can read more about construction and details in this post.

Office wood countertops white built ins

His and Hers work stations with a T-shaped countertop so there’s plenty of space to spread out.

Or, you could swivel and have meaningful, face to face conversation over a cup o’tea and a biscuit!
Maybe?

The countertop is made out of oak flooring over a plywood base and is coated with and tinted tung oil.

The white cabinets are the same color as the kitchen cabinets which can be found on my FAQs page along with any other paint colors and formulas.

Oh, the damage I could do with a righteous space like that….

  2. I fell in love with your curtains! Where did you find this fabric at? Name of it? Love your house! You will not have any problems selling it! Good luck!

Holy cow, lady – you weren't kidding at Blissdom when you said you worked with powertools. All of these built-ins all over your house are absolutely amazing! I'm officially obsessed with your blog.

Truly more marriages would last longer if everyone had this set up. You're in the same space but not in the SAME space. Ideal. And everyone has plenty of space. Love this set up. If your blog was a magazine I would have ripped out all the pages and put them in a box to refer to later for my dream house. Great job! Looking forward to seeing what you do with your next house.

  5. I love your office space! I would love to copy the counter tops. I am in the middle of building a wall of cabinets and bookcases. I love the contrast of white cabinets and dark counter top. How did you edge the flooring on the counter top? Did you use 2x4s? Thanks for any help! Loving the house tour!

  6. Wish this is what my office looked like :)

Hi Sandra, new to the blog, and drooling over your office! My hubbie and I want to "shack up" together in a space like that too…. Did you build them yourselves? Would you share where if you've found some place in particular that has been helpful with 2-in-1 spaces like this? Thanks for sharing.
