Keep on Keep’n on
Checking these off the list!
1. Clear all the CRAP out of the room.
2. Drywall the hole where I removed the bathroom door .
3. Retexture the walls. (Mud and Sand)
4. Remove the carpet.

5. Remove tack strips, hundreds of staples, scrape the floors and vacuum the walls.
DONE. Today’s goal: prime, paint and install recessed lights.
My apprentice started school today. I have a sneaking suspicion that I’ll get things done a little faster now. We had a tendency to get sidetracked and stop for long breaks a little too often.
Love that girl! Here’s hoping 8th grade is one for the books (in a good way)…seriously, crossing fingers, knot in stomach, hoping to high heaven we all survive!
(Anyone else have a daughter in middle school/junior high? It’s the most stressful time of my life.)
Anywhoo…back to work!
You are making headway! Yay you 🙂 I have already been through those years with my daughter but they go quick so don’t blink!
Hugs,
Bj
Middle school is the absolute worst! I have a daughter going into 7th and one in 9th. Middle school and high school. I think I am a lot less stressed about high school!!
I have one entering college and one going into the seventh grade. Eighth grade was HARD I won’t lie to you. The next 6 years or more are going to be rough on you….just what you wanted to hear right?
Sandra, I agree – middle school is the worst! For boys and girls. I hope Maddie has a really good year!
