I’m home!
I have so much to get caught up on: piles of laundry, piles of mail…sleep… the usual. 16 days is a long time to be away from home.
We had a great time! 2 family reunions and 1 big a@* project for my mom that took up my whole second week and was supposed to NOT be that major at all. 🙂 Then my 20 year class reunion which I am happy to report, was a blast! (Surprisingly) But, it’s good to be home!
When we landed in Chicago, Maddie said she was happy to be home. I actually didn’t feel it at all until we walked up to our front door and I looked in the window and SAW it. HOME SWEET HOME! You know the feeling, right?
I have to thank all the peeps who guest posted while I was gone.

If you’ve become a new visitor while I was out, the last 2 weeks were a complete aberration from my normal posting schedule. So now that I’m back, you probably won’t see quite so much activity on this blog.
Isn’t that funny? I’m back so you won’t see much of me anymore. Ha ha! Well, you haven’t been seeing ME lately, or MY STUFF anyway. It just takes me a loooong time to finish my projects and I usually just post when I have something to share.
Although, I have missed it all.
So, who knows,
I may feel the need…
We’ll see.
I do have some news and reminders and photos to share… but right now I just have to settle in.

Happy to have you back. I have to catch up on reading posts from the pst week or so. I lived outside of Chicago for too many years, and rarely visited downtown. I also have a class reunion this weekend. Not in Chicago and NOT going. But getting together with a friend who moved far way, I have not seen in a decade, and she is going to our reunion. She better spill all the gossip.

Welcome back! I didn't realize you were a Chicagoan…I lived there (and loved it) for 13 years. Also went to my 20th reunion last week. Glad I went but glad it's over 🙂
