Welcome 2011 {and all the new adventures you bring}
Happy New Year!
I thought I’d jump on the “Best of 2010” bandwagon but then I started looking through my old posts and realized that most of the interesting ones are on my sidebar already – so forget that.
I’m not making any resolutions. It’s too easy to disappoint yourself with those.
I am going to make some TRY-olutions though.
- I am going to try to work out at least a couple times this year.
- I am going to try to shower and get dressed before noon at least 3 days a week.
- I am going to try to make (frozen pre-made) homemade meals for my family more.
- I am going to try NOT to tear the S*%@ out of everything all at once in the house we buy in TN.
Wishing you all the best in 2011!
May your year be healthy, happy and productive.
p.s. I drive Wes to the airport tomorrow morning so he can go start his new adventure at his new job in a new town. I’ll be here, working on the rest of my To-Do list.
YOU — I can relate to! Thank God — someone who shares my aspirations.
I love these!! I make try-olusions too… just stuff I'd like to try a little harder. Mine is – actually wear the nice clothes I have, work out every so often, and choose wheat bread over white when I order sandwiches. I like to set the bar low so that success feels good… =)
I like your try-olusions! Dixie, I love your ideas!
I used in my old house to paint color samples on the wall and live with 5 or 6 of them for months until I decided on a color. Drove my husband nuts. When we moved into our new house he said, "No more samples on the walls. Paint them on boards." That was a fine compromise. I find taking pictures of my rooms and then drawing on top of the pictures what I want it to look like helps me not tear the S*%@ out of everything. I do it in a picture. Dixie
Love the idea of TRY-olusions! Very clever and oh so practical! Not to mention yours are awesome…Sending lots of "productive" vibes your way so that to-do list shrinks! Happy New Year
