Snow Day
Here in East TN, they don’t get a whole lot of snow and people get skeered and don’t know how to drive in it.
(And they don’t have snow plows…)
But last Thursday we got snow.
The city called Friday a Snow Day! (I think we got about an inch.) Madison couldn’t have been happier.
Friday morning Wes dug out the sleds and I grabbed the camera. I WAS NOT going to sled because my back has been sore for a few weeks and I’ve been visiting my chiropractor regularly.
But it looked so fun that I gave it a try. And I tumbled head over rump at the bottom of the hill!
I’ll be seeing my chiropractor a few extra times this week.
Madison was laughing so hard she couldn’t hold the camera still. Hope you enjoy the spectacle as much as she did.
Cheers!
You and my sister who lives in Atlanta……I get such a giggle from you all when there is but a tiny dusting of snow! LOL We are here in central IL and woke up to -10 this morning and it has to be 6-12 ” and a blizzard before it’s called a snow day…. My sister saw our temps this morning and sent me an e-mail asking if the kids were out of school. I couldn’t imagine what she was talking about. She said “well because it’s so cold up there”. All kidding aside I’m actually very jealous of your wonderful weather down south!
Too cute. Love your pajamas. I live in my pajama pants too cuz they’re so darn comfy. Even with paint stains. Cheers.
That’s one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen! And now I want to do it too although I would not be as graceful as you!
So I was laughing so hard my 7 year old came over and watched it over my shoulder and said…
So you must be friends with that lady! LOL. Great video…sorry for your back…it skeeeered me!
Thankfully we don’t get much snow here either because people here can’t even drive when the ground is dry.
