House Tour – Playroom

Moving this tour on down to the basement.  Get to the bottom of the stairs, turn right…welcome to the Playroom!

The first project I built in here was the shutters.  (Vinyl is from Target.)

Then I built a Playhouse facade on the closet.  The inside of the closet has cork board panels so you can hang artwork…or whatever.

The playhouse has a hinged roof for extra storage.

Then I built a storage wall.

M and I built that castle doll bed together.  Good times…back when it wasn’t -10 in the garage.

Here’s the playroom from the adjoining Game room.  There were going to be some curtains…

But that’s something the next owners can decide!

I was in love with this when you first did it and were featured EVERYWHERE…in fact, I think that's when I found your blog! The house tour has been awe inspiring, thank you for taking us all along.

I don't normally comment as I'm a *secret* blog stalker but this is absolutely AMAZING. I would KILL for this basement playroom…I so wish I had your talent!

  3. My goodness, I love your house.! My kids would love to have that play room! For that matter, I would love to have it too! There is no designated play area in my house, which means EVERYWHERE is the play area! Which makes it hard to keep a clean house. If your house was local, I would sooo be calling the realtor just to get a walk through and see it for myself. You've done a beautiful job. Can't wait to see what you do to your next house!

This is so creative and fun for little ones. Amazing job!

  5. I am in awe of your talent. (And I'm really jealous of it too.)
