Home Office with Built-in Work Stations
This is our Illinois home office. Using open shelving and cabinets with doors is a fun way to break up a long wall of built-ins. The doored cabinets hide all the non pretty office supplies.

His and Hers work stations with a T-shaped countertop so there’s plenty of space to spread out.
Or, you could swivel and have meaningful, face to face conversation over a cup o’tea and a biscuit!
Maybe?
The countertop is made out of oak flooring over a plywood base and is coated with and tinted tung oil.
As I said many times before, this is such a beautiful office. Hubs keeps telling me this is how he pictures our office in the new house. I love that you made the upper cabinets staggered in depth and that some have doors, some don't; adds so much interest! A question I just thought of: On the leg of the "T", the wood runs in the same direction as the "T" but does it run the short direction on the cross piece? Do you know what I mean?
I love your office. Might be my favorite part of your house besides your kitchen. Where can I find out how you did your desktops? It seems like you posted it somewhere but I can't find it.
Absolutely gorgeous! Your home tour has been excited each day. Thank you for sharing!
I have no idea why you think that you'll have trouble selling your house- it is GORGEOUS and anyone would love to live there! 🙂 Talk to you soon, we need to skype again soon so I can have a 'live' tour of the office LOL xoxo-Kristi@ Creative Kristi
