The kitchen is moving along now. I’m recovered enough now to do light work: I did a little sanding and painting this week. 🙂 Didn’t get too far –I’m pacing myself making sure not to overdo it. I didn’t make a lot of progress personally but the contracted portions are almost done!
The countertops were delivered for the coffee bar and the cooktop area, the plumber got the faucets and garbage disposals installed, and we have the beginnings of a pantry now. Outside of drawers and doors, I think we’ll be done in here by the end of the month. Crossing fingers and toes — hoping!
Soon to be coffee bar.
Obviously…cooktop.
Y’all wanted to know what all the holes were for: faucet, filtered water faucet, garbage disposal button and soap dispenser.
Outside of drawers and doors, I think we’ll be done in here by the end of the month. Crossing fingers and toes — hoping!

I love it! Is that a blue pex pipe for a pot filler faucet that I see sticking out of the wall below the range hood?

I am also wondering about the pot filler faucet, will you have one? Your home will be amazing when you are finished. Lucky you, lucky Wes!!

The beadboard in the pantry totally makes it. Just lovely!!!

Beautiful! So exciting to watch this come together! Love the faucet, love the beadboard. What will go around the top of the stove hood exhaust? Did you tell us in an earlier post and I missed it? Don’t work too hard!

Will you be using any kind of inserts – pullout, recycling, organizational units of some kind? I’m hoping for that in my kitchen overhaul – in several years from now. Anxious to see the choice of backsplash material and color!
Looking good – wish it were me. And I would so be there to help if you lived in my area.
