Three year house tour.
It’s August 2014!!! Which means we have been in this house for three years. I can barely believe it and I know I said the same thing last year after I did a two year update but …it seams like after three years I should have a LOT more projects completed by now. But, as I said in the video, I can only do what I can do so I’m going to just keep plugging away and see where the next three years lands us. Oiy! I REALLLLLY hope in three more years this house is D.O.N.E.
So this house tour is a video tour so I could walk you through just like I did when we got our key and before we moved in. This time there’s a lot of chaos and mess and craziness going on. I hope you can see through all that and recognize the potential I think this house has. If you’re a visual person and have to SEE it, come on back in three more years for the “It’s DONE” house tour. 🙂
If you haven’t see the “Before” house tour, you might want to check that out first so you can compare.
thank you for the home tour! It was realistic and made me feel better about my own progress and living within a remodel.
Oh, Sandra! First, incredible house. Second, your husband must be even more understanding than mine 🙂 I knew you had your hands full with projects, but I didn’t know you had your hands FULL! Thank you for taking the time to offer your services to so many of us when you have so much going on. My mudroom turned out better than my wildest dreams and is the only completed project in my entire house because of our weekly sessions. I loved working with you!
Hey – strong work! 🙂
Now I need to go find the original house video and watch it. I LOVE what you’ve done, very creative and I think you’re finishing skills are awesome. Closet was very impressive! I’m attempting a serious remodel with a big house in FL. I feel your pains and frustrations at times! Keep up the good work :). – Nate
I loved watching that (and seeing the first video first, which I hadn’t seen before (hint, it’s not on your videos tab) – the new layout is AMAZING. It seemed to make sense whenever you post about a new door or closing up a door but seeing the initial crazy weird layout and seeing how you’ve changed it right after was really great. Glad you saw that potential in it, not sure I would’ve. And thanks for answering my q about why this house. That makes perfect sense now!
Oh my gosh! This remodeling thing is a disease. And I have it too. Your poor, patient husband. My poor, patient (most of the time) husband. Do you want a black piano for that second dining room/office? I have one to get rid of. 🙂
