Home Office with Built-in Work Stations
This is our Illinois home office. Using open shelving and cabinets with doors is a fun way to break up a long wall of built-ins. The doored cabinets hide all the non pretty office supplies.

His and Hers work stations with a T-shaped countertop so there’s plenty of space to spread out.
Or, you could swivel and have meaningful, face to face conversation over a cup o’tea and a biscuit!
Maybe?
The countertop is made out of oak flooring over a plywood base and is coated with and tinted tung oil.
Hi Sandra, I'm following you from Shannon (FPF). I'm really enjoying your home tour! What an adventure!
Hands down…my favorite room so far! I would die if I had this much office space in my home! Great job. Love the built-ins and the T shaped desk! I just can't say enough…absolutely wonderful!
I am back from under my boxes, I love your house tour, you did so much work, and in every room!I read your open house story, and your worries about them.I must say we never did any for selling our old house, I always felt like serious people would have a realtor and make an appointment. That said, my husband found our new house at an open house! He also visited it again with our realtor…. I know I am not very helpful!Good luck with the house and the snow!
LOVE it! Are you planning to do something similar in your new house?
The built ins realy are amazing, but my favorite detail has to be the curtains (hands down!)
