Spring Break {We’re Back}

Well Hello there!  I didn’t mean to take a week off and not even give you any warning.  We rented a cabin up in the Smoky Mountains for Spring Break.  We thought there was internet — but there wasn’t.  So, despite the fact that I had my laptop, I ended up taking a complete break, from projects and from Facebook and Twitter and Pinterest and Google+ and Blogging.  I missed you … but it was GREAT!

The Kids

We looked at some “beach” vacations but wanted to bring Brody with us and didn’t want to drive 8-10 hours so we ended up close to home.  We rented a little cabin by a creek about 10 minutes outside of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.   We went into town for some meals and entertainment but spent a lot of time playing frisbee, tag and playing in the creek.

Up a Creek

At first, Brody didn’t want anything to do with the water but he also didn’t want to be left out so he got in…which made him slightly resemble a wet rat and kinda stinky.  (But still lovable and sweet.)

Wet Dog

We had a good time hanging out together.

The Girls

Taking a complete brake from projects and the internet was a really good thing for me.

I feel completely recharged and am ready to rock some projects!  For real!!

  1. Once we got situated in the cabin and realized there was no internet it took me all of 10 seconds to let go. I did have technology though. I played quite a few solo games of Ticket to Ride on my iPad while we watched movies. LOL

  2. Thanks Brandy. BIG things in store…I’m so excited to get on them!

  3. We were thinking it would be a really fun place for a family reunion. Our cabin was perfect for us but quite small. There were some HUGE cabins near us that would be perfect for a group vacation though. Sounds like you had a great time too.

  4. Yes and I’m raring to get back at it now. 😀
