Sometimes you need to cut multiple thin strips of wood or wooden dowels and you want them all exactly the same length. Who wants to measure, mark and cut a whole bunch of wooden dowels or thin strips? Not me, that would be tedious.
- I stack or bundle all the pieces together and wrap them up with painters tape. (lined up exactly for same cut length)
- Measure and make ONE mark on the whole bundle.
- Make sure the bundle is taped directly before and after (or right in the middle) of the cut mark
- Cut!
It’s safer, easier, faster and generally more accurate than cutting them all one by one.

Great tip! Also measure twice cut once!
