Are you going to post any tutorial on the arches? I love love them. I may have to borrow this idea for boring bookcases I have in my family room 😉

I love these (and every thing else you do). Such awesome work. I love the b board and the arches. Can come help me build some in my library/office/study/den room? 🙂

Another fabulous room, my lady! And it's funny… I always think of you first and foremost as a handywoman, but your decorating style is equally as impressive. I guess I forget that you have an interior design background…

Sandra, seriously, you never cease to amaze me! I love your room, and style, so beautiful!

Good question Morgane. I always forget some detail or other. 🙂 I estimate it cost me around $500. The hardware (hinges and knobs) were about $100 and I probably spent $300 to $400 on the MDF, Beadboard (for the backs) and pine for face frames.

I am going to repeat myself and the others, you are good! I really the library feel. I am a book crazy myself, so I understand the need!It looks like you also change the floor, it adds to the library feel. How much would you estimate it cost you to build something like that, just for wood, screws, supplies in general? (of course not including your time!)I got sticker shock this other day when I went to buy some wood….
