House Selling?

All Posts, Personal

I guess I can’t ignore the question any longer.
How is the house selling going?
Any (more) offers?
Well, the answer is pretty much summed up in this video..

Yep, that’s about the gist of it!
Thanks for asking.
I’ll give you the skinny on my Facebook page if when anything happens.

Regardless of what happens here, I’m going house hunting soon.
I REALLY need something to work on…I can feel all my creative energy drying up!
It hurts!  🙂

I have many things around my house that need your creative energy! Can you come over to PA? The coffee is brewing and I make a mean breakfast!

How long has it been on the market again? Are people coming through? We're on the verge of Spring, hopefully things will pick up soon. Your house is stunning, I know it will sell. I don't know about you, but when we sold our house, the big issue was finding buyers who didn't have any strings attached – i.e., a house to sell. We had several people who "loved" our house, but couldn't do anything until they sold theirs. Ultimately, it came down to a family who had no strings attached, and even then, another realtor/family was trying to woo them with "extras" if they bought the house that was their second choice. A "free" buyer is a hot commodity in this market!

P.S. – How have you NOT started house hunting? You're a better woman than I… Heck, I was house hunting before our house was even on the market. (Like years before it was on the market…). 😉

Our house has been on the market 6 months now…nothing. Lots of showings, no offers. Let's both keep our fingers crossed for a upswing in the Spring!

Ha ha. Thanks for the laugh! I agree with everyone else. I think it'll be easier to sell once the weather warms up. I was just thinking the other day that it probably is better to sell in Spring because that's when yards look their beds. Nice and green with pretty flowers.I'm sure once everyone makes it inside and they see all of the awesome things you've done, you'll have no problem selling.

Good luck. We currently own 2 homes in 2 states. Ended up renting out the one we had for sale after a year on the market and 1 offer that they backed out on. Hopefully the market will improve so we can sell it next year. You have such a beautiful house but the market is just bad now.

Rats. The only thing worse than waiting for a house to sell is waiting to have a baby. So, I guess there's that.Good luck!

Good luck! Spring will bring buyers, I can feel it. In the meantime, do you need me to mail you some treats to help keep your strength up? 🙂

Well obviously the slow market has not killed your sense of humor, because that chirping was funny 🙂

How I wished I lived near Chicago, I would love your house. Best of luck with the selling. Did you get the stage room done? If you have creative time you should totally finish it. I would love to see it.
