You’ve checked out the new Sawdust Diaries website, haven’t you? It’s where all of my awesome DIY “students” are posting the stories and photos about their custom projects – the building process, the trials and tribulations, and the incredible results that come after weeks and months of hard work.
Go ahead, click over and check it out, I’ll wait here!
Hey, welcome back! So, what did you think? Many of them are thisclose to being finished and we are going to have some AMAZING reveals in the next few weeks. I’m so proud of them!
But maybe you’re thinking, “That’s cool, but I already know how to build, and I’ve done some amazing things, too.”
Or you’re saying, “I have lots of fun projects and pictures to share, but I don’t know how to share my awesomeness with other people who love DIY.”
Guess what – you can submit your projects and be featured, too! There is a tab on The Sawdust Diaries called “Submit a Project”. Just fill in your information, write a short little something or other about your project, upload your beautiful pictures (“before and afters” are always great) and you could get a full-post feature on the site. Built-ins, furniture, shelving, trimwork, woodworking… bring it on!
The more we “Show and Share” in the DIY community, the more we encourage each other to keep on building.
Yesterday Ashley’s Screened in Porch got featured! Awesome, right? This is a great way for readers that don’t have blogs to show off their stuff! OR, for other bloggers to show off their stuff too and get a link to their blog in a showcase that is a little bigger deal than a tiny picture in a link party with 500 other links.
Awesome Ashley of The Cream to my Coffee.
How cool would it be to have YOUR VERY OWN project build or room makeover featured on The Sawdust Diaries?
That’s what The Sawdust Diaries is all about. It’s about YOU!
C’mon Sawdust Girls and Guys, I know you’re out there, so show me your stuff!
