Doing all my own home improvement projects (all by my little ole’ self), I never have enough trash at one time to warrant renting a huge dumpster — but I always have more than I can bag up in construction trash bags and leave out with the trash.
The solution? The Bagster Bag. I’ve used Bagster many times over the years and love it. Wes REALLY loves it. (Because his threshold for having piles of crap stacked up around the house isn’t quite as high as mine.)
It’s easy and, compared to renting a regular dumpster, fairly inexpensive.
I buy the bag at Home Depot, it’s about $40. Then I fill it and when I’m ready for pick up, I go online to schedule and pay for that. Collection cost varies depending on your location and there is limited availability across the nation so you want to check that out before you purchase a bag. A couple times when we’ve been tossing junk into our Bagster, Wes has asked me how much it would hold and I’ve replied, “As much as we can fit” , not knowing the right answer.

Seriously, I can’t imagine getting close to that maximum weight but do have a “Pile of Crap” that needs to be hauled away after tearing out the carpet and working on some other projects for Maddie’s room.

Living in a 110 year old house with 3 kids during a major renovation. I not only need this, I want it!!!! 5 more rooms and oodles of plaster to go!
I am working on a nice solid wood bookshelf that a friend of mine gave me. Best thing about it is it was never finished to begin with so I won’t have to scrap off multiple layers of paint to refinish!
I am not working on anything right now. Next up refinishing the kitchen cabinets and new flooring for the kitchen and bathroom. This bag dumpster is s great idea!
