I’m loving Facebook right now. I can snap a picture on my phone, upload it and BAM! — immediate progress report on my latest DIY adventure! So, even though I haven’t posted on my blog for over a week, it feels like I’ve had you all along for the ride the whole time.
But don’t worry if you missed my Facebook updates, I made a video diary of all my work and put together an exciting compilation of the destruction of my master closet. (A whole minute+ of said excitement so don’t worry that you’ll be glued to your screen all day if you click “play”.)
Now I just have to install some lights (hiring it out!) and build 13 wardrobe cabinets . I’m keeping a few secrets until they happen …just in case my ideas don’t pan out– as they often don’t.
Actually, that’s not true. My ideas usually work out if they make it off the drawing table, I just change my mind a lot!
For instance, I’ve already changed my mind 3 times this week about whether I should do the wiring myself or hire an electrician. As it stands right now, I’ve got someone coming on Thursday but I also have all the supplies in a laundry basket in my foyer in case I get a wild hair to get it done myself before then!
I’m so impatient which makes no sense as I have plenty of wood to cut and glue and screw and clamp and sand and prime and paint …
See ya’round!
