Great entertainment center, Sandra. It looks beautiful and functional. I am making one myself this fall, out of stained pine, hope it turns out as good as yours!
You are my hero! Where do you find so much time to do all this? I have serious envy! I want to copy your built-in entertainment center for my game room as well as your new T desk in your office!
Ok…so i know I'm commenting on almost every post…a little stalker like…(sorry) Thanks so much for following my little blog it means a lot to me…. I'm having so much fun looking at all your posts….adore your style…and can't say enough nice things about your creative talents……(too much?) ok…I'll end here.. hope you have a great week-end.Lucy
Beadboard AND organized nooks and crannies? Two great tastes that taste great together. Love the balls too….the GLASS balls, that is….but I've gotta ask: do the kids ever grab the handle on them and do an impromptu game of horseshoes? They look temptingly fling-able. Let's just say all accessories in this house have to pass the "ability to be used against each other as a weapon" test Did I mention that I love it? Oh yeah, I think I did…
OH NO! I bookmarked this page a while ago, and now that I’m ready to use your step by step instructions and photos, the pictures aren’t showing up! So sad. I am lost without the visual help.
Ok, this is absolutely gorgeous and amazing! I stumbled upon you yesterday and am hooked! I’m just about to start a new life….fixer upper home and this would be perfect in my family room. Do you have a tutorial on it?? I so admire your “can do” approach!
Sandra, I loved that entertainment center in your previous home..will you build another one for this Tennessee home?
I saw on some decorating or organizing blogspot last week, where somebody relocated their corner desk so the light from the window would be shining over their shoulder and placed a low 2 shelf bookcase in front of the desk, so that when somebody entered the home office, they didn’t see all the computer or electrical cords. Now I can’t find that blog and I wanted to print off a picture so I could try to do my home office the same way.

Can you please share how you build the cabinet doors. I want to add the bead board and trim to our laundry room cabinets. Thanks!!
Angie, I did a tutorial on building drawers here:
